"Friends of the Cleveland Metroparks" | |
Dedicated to preserving our trails by offering our help and friendship to the men and women who work so hard to care for our beautiful Metroparks. |
The purpose of this organization shall be the promotion, development and enjoyment of horse related activities and to preserve and promte horses in Ohio regardless of breed affiliation. We will also promote the development and usage of the bridle trails in Cuyahoga County and the Cleveland Metroparks System. |
Those of us who have ridden other bridle trails in the State of Ohio, perceive the Metropark trails to be exceptional. Therefore, it is important to us that they be preserved. We offer suggestions to the park in a spirit of gratitude and a desire to elevate our beautiful trails to unparalleled distinction. |
The pleasure and pride we take in our sport include a sincere love of animals and nature. The trails in the Metropark are a very important part of this sport. Working together with the Cleveland Metropark system is the best way to insure bridle trails remain consistent gems in the Emerald Necklace. |
We also stress equestrian education and safety through clinics, programs, training sessions and we promote friendship among horse enthusiasts. |
The single most important thing a horse person can do is join Cuyahoga OHC. |
