Rocky River/Mill Stream Run Connection
The Mill Stream - Rocky River connector is in great need of improvement for safety and enjoyment reasons. We have been presenting a few ideas that we hope the Park will act upon. A trail under Bagley Road would be easier and also be much more pleasant. It could not be used when the river is high, but at other times would be wonderful. It only needs the bank to be graded a bit and we have checked on this. Let us know if you ride this area and have other ideas!

Metroparks North Chagrin
Metroparks North Chagrin horse trailer lot will be started ASAP. Horse Trailers will have plenty of room to park and there will be picnic tables, restrooms, tie rails and trails in several diretions. Cuyahoga is coordinating efforts to grade and ready the area with the cooperation and help of Geauga OHC member John Bates, who is the owner of Bates Asphalt. Please patronize his business!

Brecksville-Bedford-Canal Area
We met with David Humphrey of Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area about improving the Canal trail area near Bedford. The Canal bridge crossing can be made safer and he is open to ideas on this. We also requested that horses be able to travel the canal trail about one more mile to Tinkers Creek Road so that horse barns in that area have better access to the tow path trail and Brecksville Reservation. We volunteered our help as the "trail north" from CVNRA continues to be planned and permits are granted. We also offered our help at the northern end and this would assist Medina OHC, who have been working on this project for so long.

Mill Stream Run
We talked with some great folks on Handle Road in M.S. Run Reservation who have a very hard time getting safely to the park down Handle Road hill. Some ideas were shared and we hope we will have some new members joining us from that area. Again metroparks were open to ideas on this problem and we hope with everyone working together we can help this situation.
